Spitting Game – A Movie About the College Hook-Up Culture

The Spitting Game is a documentary seeking to expose the underside of today’s college hook-up culture. Amusing to students and shocking to parents — this movie delves into the motivations, rationale and desires which drives the current acceptance among those under 30 of the casual sex lifestyle. The film explores the risks and realities within the college hook up scene, and it contains interesting perspectives from some of America’s brightest — as well as most promiscuous — college students. Some memorable quotes include a college guy’s definition of a fun night out — “penis in vagina”, as well as a co-ed’s epiphany that anal sex is actually sex.

Spitting Game explores the relationship between alcohol and hooking up and illustrates, via interviews, how tightly these two elements are often intertwined. Alcohol provides males with the proverbial “liquid courage” while it simultaneously helps girls dispatch previously restraining inhibitions. Spitting Game was produced by award winning director Denice Ann Evans and it includes segments touching upon health education, gender issues, peer pressure and substance abuse. Two versions of this film now exist — one for students and another shorter 35 minute version released for educational purposes. Parents of college students who have the stomach to see what is really going on these days on campus are well served to watch this insightful documentary.

Australian Hottie Samantha Brett Discusses Casual Sex In America

Australian sex symbol Samantha Brett recently travelled to Hollywood in order to examine the current casual sex craze in America. She gains perspective from several males and females along with experts included the renowned expert on the subject — Dr. Drew. Samantha traces back today’s casual sex epidemic to the advent of the birth control pill, and her thesis is that women are now as prone to have casual sex as men have always been. As for the men, Dr. Drew advises to slow things down just a tad — a little conversation before fucking never hurt anyone.

In terms of advice for the plethora of women today engaging in regular random sex, Dr. Drew advises that women remember that they hold the “keys to the castle”, and he urges females to embark upon a “no casual sex diet”. No doubt, men are sincerely hoping that this diet does not become a fad. A woman’s ability to bifurcate sex and feelings — like a guy can — is discussed in depth. It is suggested that women can only effectively engage in meaningless sex when they have no real compatibility with the guy — if there is compatibility, then women, unlike men, are unable to keep it at the casual level. This video provides a wide range of perspectives on the issue and parts will certainly ring true with those immersed in today’s hook-up culture.

You Can Sleep Around And Keep Your Sanity

You Can Sleep Around And Keep Your Sanity

Good news for fans of casual sex — the University of Minnesota recently released a report which quantified that those who’s last sexual encounter was casual in nature are not more prone to suffer adverse psychological conditions. The study was overseen by Dr. Marla Eisenberg of UM’s medical school, and it looked at a universe of just over 1300 young adults who are sexually active. This group was divided into approximately 575 males and 725 females. This disparity was not explained, but one can assume male researchers preferred to select females in order to query about their sexual dalliances.

Out of the respondents, 55% indicated that their last encounter was with a partner in a serious dating relationship, 25% were last with a spouse or fiance and the remaining 30% last got naked within the context of a casual hook-up. It was no shocker that twice as many males reported that their last fuck was of the random variety as compared to their female counterparts. After reviewing the psychological history of all participants in the study for several years after their sexual habits were quantified, the study was able to definitively show that those prone to engage in casual sex had equal — and in many cases superior — mental health compared to the monogamous subsets. True, STD’s are always a risk — but it now appears that your peace of mind is not put at risk by random sex.

Hooking Up Can Lead To Casual Sex

Hooking Up Can Lead To Casual Sex

From the Department of No Shit at the University of Iowa comes a new study with an unnecessarily verbose title of “The Contexts of Sexual Involvement and Concurrent Sexual Partnerships”. This groundbreaking report has now quantified that those who have a proclivity for random hook-ups are more likely to have multiple sex partners as opposed to those in monogamous relationships. Without these brilliant academics to guide us, who’d have thought that random hook-ups with the babysitter, bartender or barrista presents for increased risk of “concurrency for both members of sexual dyads”. Translated from Douchebag to English, this means that if you sleep around a lot then you might become a slut!

The daunting academic research behind this shocking thesis was led by Dr. Anthony Paik working with a team of fearless researchers willing to immerse themselves within the sordid world of the Gen-X hook-up crowd. This highly relevant report (utilizing 1995 data on 783 Chicago-area straight adults) now proves that, as of 15 years ago, those who like to fuck around — sorry, “engage in sexual dyads” — are prone to be non-monogamous. Seeing Dr. Paik’s other main subject of study is the interrelationships within the right-wing lawyer community (I’m not making this up), it appears he is focused on those among us prone to screw everybody around them. Those who desire to soak up the entirety of this intellectual endeavor can read the complete study in March’s issue of Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Facebook Hookup List Deadline Passes

Facebook Hookup List Deadline Passes

(Click through on image for full size view.)

A few months ago, the internet world was introduced to loving siblings Chris and Katie. Apparently, they had not been getting along so well after Katie told on Chris, so he decided to go through his sister’s stuff, only to find a “hook up list” detailing all the guys from school she wanted to get with or had already gotten with. He wasted no time in posting it to Facebook.

The list itself was quite amusing, and surprisingly well organized. It listed exactly what activities she wanted to do with each guy and the date she wanted it done by. Also, there were prerequisites for some of the guys. For example, Brian would be given a BJ if he cut his hair first. Funny stuff. It got even better in the comments, where Chris and Katie had a hilarious back and forth about the breach of privacy.

Well, this story is due for a “where are they now?” because one of the details included on the list was a deadline by which she wanted to complete the “action items” by. The date was April 2010. Did Katie accomplish her goals, or was she grounded? Did Chris get in more trouble? So many amusing questions remain unanswered. I wouldn’t honestly expect the story to resurface, but if it did it would be one of the greatest moments in the history of the internet. The obvious lesson is do not make a hook up list when you are in a fight with your brother, especially if he has Facebook!

Facebook Founder Addicted To Hooking Up

Facebook Founder Addicted To Hooking Up

Already under fire for violating the privacy of half of the world’s Internet users, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg now faces ridicule and criticism for being a sex-crazed hook-up addict. Going back to his days at Harvard, it appears that in addition to conquering the web and becoming a multi-billionaire, Zuckerberg desired to fuck as many girls as possible — even without the aid of using Facebook which he had yet to create. This depiction of the early Zuckerberg years is contained with a movie recently debuting at the Cannes Film Festival. This movie is titled The Social Network, and its screenplay was adapted from the book by Ben Mezrich.

In addition to his pussy-chasing habits, the movie portrays Zuckerberg as being a serious asshole. It traces Facebook’s origins to a crude website that Zuckerberg created which compared various girls in his Harvard class to farm animals. Supposedly, this site was created in a fit of rage after his girlfriend broke up with him. Little did anyone know that this sophomoric site would be the genesis of the modern social networking era. There is surely a lot of jealousy which spurs this Zuckerberg-bashing — however, usually where there is smoke then there is fire. Surely, his former conquests will seek to capitalize on their newfound fame — look for a future Playboy special edition of Girls Who Banged Zuckerberg soon on a newsstand near you.

Government Match Making?

Government Match Making?

When you think of places to look for a casual hook up, a list of websites and bars probably come to mind. The last place you would think to check is with the government, but in Singapore, that is exactly what is happening. The government there developed the Social Development Unit (SDU), basically, to promote baby-making!

With the country facing low birth rates from natives and an influx of foreigners, the government has sought to increase the birth rate of the domestic population. The SDU was created in response, and it provides online dating services, hosts social mixers, and even puts together speed dating events.

The public reaction, however, has been a bit mixed. Many young folks look at it as too much paternalistic involvement by the government. Opponents say they do not need the government to find partners. A common joke goes that the agency name really stands for Single, Desperate, and Ugly, based on the selection offered by their services.

It is a fascinating concept either way, if you think about it. The government is actually committing resources and tax dollars to help people hook up! With a little bit of improvement to the system, the people of Singapore could be looking at some true government “benefits”.
